Outlook Settings Configuration Guide

This article will explain how I setup a basic policy to setup Outlook automatically on Windows devices.

Why am I doing this?

This policy will setup Outlook so the user doesn’t have to interact too much with Outlook the first time it runs.
This policy will:

  • Sets the user on first run.
  • The user only has to click next a few time.
  • There will be no need to enter server and other settings.

How am I doing this?

🧪 Test Groups: Creating a test group is the first step when creating a new Intune policy. This allows you to safely test the policy on a small group of users before deploying to your entire organization, minimizing potential disruption and ensuring the policy works as expected.

In the Intune Admin panel, go to Windows -> Configuration -> Create -> New Policy -> Windows 10+ && Templates -> Email

Give the policy a name like: Win - Setup Email

From here you can setup the values below.
You can use whatever you like for the Account name.
